Eco-Printing Workshop with Jasmine Bains: A Day of Alchemy & Art

Step into a world where nature leaves its signature on silk. The Jasmine Bains Eco-Printing Workshop is an intimate, hands-on experience that transforms the simplest of leaves into breathtaking botanical imprints—each piece an echo of the earth’s quiet poetry.

Held in-studio at House No. 230, Level One, Sector 36, Chandigarh, this immersive one-day workshop invites you to slow down, observe, and create. It is not just a craft; it is an awakening—a dialogue between fabric, flora, and your own artistic intuition.

What Awaits You?

From the first light of morning, we step into the wilderness, gathering leaves—eucalyptus, rose, marigold, and whatever nature gifts us that day. The act of foraging itself is meditative, a reconnection to the raw, untouched beauty of the land. Back in the studio, the magic begins.

    •    The Art of Placement: Like composing a love letter to nature, you will arrange leaves on fine silk, letting instinct and design merge.

    •    Preparing the Fabric: Learn the alchemy of natural mordants, unlocking vibrant hues hidden within botanical pigments.

    •    The Steaming Ritual: As the fabric rests in tightly rolled bundles, we let heat and time work their enchantment, coaxing colors and textures from the plant’s very soul.

By evening, when we unroll our creations, every piece will carry a secret story—pressed in deep ochres, misty lavenders, and golden ambers, unique to your hands, your touch, your journey.

This is more than a workshop; it’s an experience. A pause. A remembering. You will leave with not just the knowledge of eco-printing but a tangible piece of your day—a pure silk scarf, usually valued at ₹5,500–₹6,000, now infused with your own artistry.

Join us in this dance of nature and craftsmanship. Seats are limited, ensuring an intimate, immersive experience. Come, create, and carry a piece of the forest with you.
