Letters to the Women these Designs are for

Dear You,

You — who hides poetry beneath your scars.

You — who carries the world in your eyes, even when the world forgets your name.

You — whose silence is not surrender but simmering strength.This letter is stitched into every Jasmine Bains piece I’ve ever made.

I don’t design for the runway. I don’t design for validation.

I design for you — the woman who is not one woman but many. The girl learning to fall in love with her reflection. The mother trying to find pieces of herself in between laundry and lullabies. The survivor of something unspoken. The dreamer who paints her world in colour, even when life offers only monochrome.

When I embroider, I think of your hands — how they hold, how they fight, how they pray.

When I choose eucalyptus leaves to imprint into fabric, I imagine your skin — not to flatter it, but to honour it.

Every thread is a letter I never sent.

Every stitch is a secret you already knew.

Thank you for existing. You are my muse, my memory, and my mission.

May you always feel held — not just by fabric, but by intention.
